The app collects nothing

MetaGuard is 100% offline and local-first. There is no account creation, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Diary entries, doses, metrics and photos are stored only on your device.

Backups are yours alone

Encrypted backups (.metaguard, AES-256) are generated only when you request them and are shared only through destinations you choose. Metriq Health never receives a copy.

This website

If you browse metriqhealth.xyz, standard web-server logs may record requests (IP, user agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. We may use aggregate, anonymized statistics to understand which pages matter. No cross-site tracking profiles are built.

Purchases

Subscriptions are billed by the Apple App Store and Google Play, which process your payment details — Metriq Health never sees or stores them. To manage access, subscription events are processed by RevenueCat, our subscription infrastructure provider, which receives only an anonymous installation identifier; health data, name and e-mail are never sent to it.

Children

MetaGuard is intended for adults (18+) under clinician-guided therapy and is not directed at children.

GDPR & LGPD (EU and Brazil)

MetaGuard is sold in the European Union and Brazil. Because the app runs entirely on your device and Metriq Health operates no servers and never collects, receives or processes your personal data, it does not act as a controller or processor under the GDPR (art. 4) or the LGPD (art. 5) — all processing happens locally, under your exclusive control. Metriq Health therefore holds no responsibility whatsoever over that local data, including its safekeeping, loss or leakage: it never had access to it. The only exception is the anonymous purchase processing described above.
